As we saw in the recent match with England, Chris Gayle gets carried away sometimes. He had managed to hit Ryan Sidebottom for a six and a four on consecutive deliveries. But he wanted more, which resulted in him getting bowled the very next ball by a well placed yorker. If he was not so over-confident he would have been able to play that delivery safely and then continue his onslaught. Apart from this defect I see nothing that can stop Chris Gayle from continuously hitting the ball across the boundary line.
