AB Devilliers enterd the SA team as WK but converted himself into a full time batsman in the team. He has also kept wickets for SA in Boucher's absence. He is an athletic fielder and has taken some glorious catches.In IPL 09, he played crucial knocks for Delhi Daredevils and scored over 400 runs.
He has been a great player for SA and will serve to SA in future.

One of the worlds best - a Champion player and a gentleman as well

He is actually a Keeper - the selectors actually rate him just behind Boucher so he wont be picked instead of him - but his batting is good enough to see him play as a batsman

I like him a lot

Great player.Hats off!!!

We have all seen him standing like a pillar for Delhi Daredevils.He has the ability to build his innings and can easily accelerate as and when required.

AB DeVilliers is really a star find for the South African team. He has raised the level of cricket, just like Herschelle Gibbs had done 5 years ago. It's amazing how South Africa keep producing these cricketers who are so far ahead of their time. Remember Jonty Rhodes anyone?
