Pakistan cant retain the tile because it hasnt won the title in the previous edition
They do stand a chance but if only they make a collective effort
with Abdul Razzaq allowed to join the team by ICC looks like they have got just what it takes to put on a fighting display

It doesn't seem so easy for Pakistan to reach finals after seeing the way Srilanka outperformed them.

Well looks like Pakistan have their revenge. Srilanka did outperform them but when it mattered the most, it was Pakistan that rose to the occasion and made sure that they were not going home empty handed for a second time in a row.

Pakistan have finally became new world champions.
They completely outperformed Srilanka in the most crucial match and won the title quite comfortably.
