Pakistan's world cup debacle
« on: May 02, 2007, 03:20:48 AM »
This world cup was the worst for the Pakistan team. Lost to Ireland, went back along with India during the very start of the Cup.

To further add to the misery, Bob Woolmer, the Pakistan coach also died.

Yes incredibly sad news with Bob, it is such a pity because it marred Ireland's fantastic victory.

Pakistan are a good team but were just off on that day and that cost them, the pitch was no help either :)

It was very sad world cup for Pakistan. We got nothing and lost everything. We lost Bob Woolmer for life (May his soul R.I.P), we also lost Inzamam from ODIs. Couldn't even qualify for second round..

they might have lost in the world cup because of their poor form. and some mis happenings. the match between them and Ireland is the proof for the statement for " Anything can happen in an ODI " so let us forget the past.. and encourage the team more to perform well in the forthcoming matches.... :)
