Here are the points table with the Net Run rate and the number of matches each team has played so far in the Twenty20 World Cup.
There will be total 27 number of matches will be played in 2009 twenty20 world cup. Tournament will start with 12 teams. Twelve teams are divided into four separate groups (Group A B C D). Top two teams from each group will then move forward to play in the Super Eight stage. In Super Eight Stage all teams are divided into two Groups and each Group consists of four teams in each Group (Group E & F). Top two teams from each group will play in the Semi Finals on 18th of June and 19th of June then the winners of both semifinals matches will play in the final on 21st June at Lords.
