Ishant or Irfan for over no 17 against WI?

Was it a correct decision to gand over the ball to Ishant Sharma when 2 overs of Irfan were left?
That after knowing that Irfan gave only 9 of his 2 overs?

I did find that decision of Dhoni's to be very strange. But, anyway, at the rate Bravo was going, I don't think it would have made much of a difference to the overall outcome if the match anyway. :P
