India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2009 - Oye India
« on: June 04, 2009, 01:42:42 AM »
Rohit Sharma tore apart Pakistan's bowling attack with a 80-run blitzkrieg as India bulldozed their arch-rivals by nine wickets with three overs to spare in their final warm-up match of the ICC World Twenty20 here.
Chasing 159, Rohit and Gautam Gambhir (52 not out) raised 140 runs in just 16 overs for the opening stand to slam the door on Pakistan and India cruised to 159 for one in 17 overs to complete a facile win, last night.

Yes this is really a good sign for Indian cricket. If they will play like last night they definitely fetch the world cup again.

Yesterday match between India and Pakistan was a great match. In the starting the pak team was scoring at a quick rate, but Suresh Raina with his fielding and tight bowling by Indians helped India to restrict Pak to 158. In return, batsmen faced no difficulty, a superb knock bt Rohit Sharma... India won by 9 wickets

the most important thing is that now we don't depend on Sehwag that much in opening, we have now a new opening batsmen to open in case there is any problem with Sehwag or Gambhir... this is good sign for Indian cricket team.

I saw the match yesterday till late night and was really happy as India won it against the arch rivals Pakistan. It was a awesome display of Indian batting power against some good bowling. India was with out the key batsman Viru......if he arrives then India will be unbeatable.

In any format of WC,India have tore Pak apart and have dominated. This game was rather a one sided contest in which Pak bowlers had forgotten their line and length. Rohit and Gambhir played an excellent knock in the top order and smashed the bowl out on the boundary. It is good to see Gambhir spend some time on the ground and get some confidence. India will defend their  T20 title.

Anyday India is much stronger team than PAK, it was not surprising to see india winning convincingly.

Surely India is going to rock in this T20 world cup.

Rohit and Gambhir played awesome game in the warm up match. India Vs Pakistan will always be a curious and tensed game for all. The heat is on whenever  there is a match between the two teams. The tension, excitement continues every time.
It would be superb if Gambhir and Rohit Sharma could have managed the whole match, but Rohit had to return to pavilion getting Dhoni into the match.
Wish they continue there play in the same form and win the title again.
