Ian Chappel and the Indian Team

I think Ian Chappel destroyed the Indian team. From tussles with Ganguly to that gesture to the crowd, he has been at the center of controversy from the start.
So what do you guys think, has he been a positive influence or negative?

India were very unlucky in the World Cup i feel, they were extremely unlucky to come up against a amazing Sri Lankian team and also a great Bang team

Ian Chappel is a good coach but he got into the players politics thats why it became bad and bad. The Ian-Ganguly tussle was bad for Indian cricket and led to more mishaps between the players.

Hi,
First of all
Greg chappell
was Indian coach not Ian Chappell but still I can understand your question and I think that Greg chappell had really ruined Indian team, and ruined career of Ganguly and Irfan Pathan.

Ya. Ian Chappel had no work to do with India. may be the question wrong. but speaking of the
devil
chappel here. He came as an Earthquake to the Indian team. It would be better if we have an Indian coach.

Chappel had come all along from a very different culture,In India we consider sachin and saurab as GODS of Cricket and he just humiliated our feelings..so what i feel is that the steps which he took were not accepted in a culture like India..
