Reverse Sweep
« on: May 02, 2007, 09:32:04 PM »
Does anyone know how to make reverse sweep on leg-break bowling. I try it but fails almost 75% times. What could be the best time to reverse your bat when the bowl is bowled? Please post here if you are expert in this type of shot.

Well the best time for reverse sweep is just after the ball hits the ground. Other than that you watch some videos of Javed Miandad and Moin Khan, they were good sweepers and reverse sweepers. Javed Miandad invented this shot.

The reverse sweep is not a shot to be learnt. If you want to see a master reverse sweeper, watch Andy Flower of Zimbabwe. He used to reverse sweep a lot, at a time when it wasn't that famous. As for how to tackle a leg break bowler I will first need to know if you are a right handed batsman or a left handed one.
