wow - what a really bad choice.
Brett has NEVER lived up to his own hype. I would love to find a stat that shows a break down of his wickets. It would read pretty bad for him.
He opens the bowling with the quick short stuff - does a lot of Oohhing anbd Arrring. Then gave the ball to Warne and McGrath to get the wickets
He then comes back and gets three of the tailenders
He shouldnt be thought in the same category as:
Bradman
Warne
McGrath
Steve Waugh
Gilchrist
G Chappel
D Lillee
R Marsh
And I could keep going on
Of the Modern players Ricky would be at the top of the tree

I too feel that Brett Lee is the most decent cricketer in the current Australian team>He never creates any hypes on or off the field and believes in playing competitive cricket on the filed. He makes full effort in making Aus win the match and never tries to make any comments on other players but always shows a gentle aggression. Brett Lee is humble by heart and the speedster is better than his coward team mates like Ponting, Symonds, Clake.Another decent cricketer is Adam Gilchrist as he is a true gentleman on the field.

Adam Gilchrist and Brett Lee would be mine choice of a decent player of australia.
Lee does a great fielding and will put all of his efforts in making the team win the match.

I am guessing Vandy and tadityaprasad are from India... Brett is a bit of a Superstar there.
Here is just a bowler that runs in off a long run and doesnt get wickets
Brett Lee has NEVER taken a 10 wicket haul. He has an average in the 30's and his economy rate is in the 2.5's
Lets look at this to a true champion DK Lillie
10 wicket hauls - 7
Average - 23.92
Econ - 2.75
or G McGrath
10 wicket hauls - 3
Average - 21.64
Econ - 2.49
Sorry Boys - Brett just doesnt live up to the Hype
