Who do you think is the best captain out of two Ricky Ponting or Steve Waugh
i will go for Ricky Ponting as he has lead the team in world cups and has successfully achieved the target.More over he leads from the front!!

Steve was a more kind of reserved captain as compared to Ricky. He is more aggressive than any captain in the world cricket at this moment. He fills aggression in entire team and leads from the front

I like Steve. He just had a sort of brilliance to him. He didn't have to go out there each and everyday and assert that he was the captain, they just saw how he acted on and off the field and that translated to a great deal of respect for him and a much better respect for the sport itself.

Steve was once the best captain. since his retirement, ponting has taken the team in the same way as his predecessor and helped the team to continue its winning streak. for me its only Steve, who gave the start for the team and only he positioned the team on the top.

Ricky Ponting is the best captain in world cricket..Steve was good but was not as aggressive as Ricky..So i think the aggtression which aussies show is given to them by Ricky and he is the best captain today

I think, in this game of 20-20, aggression is the key factor which can lead a team to win the trophy.Ricky Ponting is one such captain.Steve Waugh was,no doubt,a very dedicated captain but was quite inert.

Steve Waugh without a doubt. But Ricky will prove himself once the Ashes are retained this year in England. Ricky having a young but talented side, where Steve took control of a hard well drilled team of champions

Steve will definitely be the pick because he hadnt got the best of the players back in his time... He broomed the talents nad passed them on to Ricky Ponting who took up the mantle along with a brilliant team Ponting may be a better batsman but he has to achieve a lot more than what he has done till now... Australia was never in the downward curve when Steve was there and ponting's record proves otherwise
